Join us Thursday, November 7 at 4 pm ET for our free
webinar, Climate Adaptation in Action, and get started on your
climate adaptation journey.
This webinar is for farmers and landowners who want to
start taking action to plan for ongoing and future impacts of
climate change. We will briefly overview of climate impacts
on vegetable and flower farms nationwide, including precipitation
and temperature trends. Then, we'll explore how to approach
climate adaptation planning and available tools you can choose
from. Two farmers who have started climate adaptation practices on
their farms will join us: Sal Daggett of Stubborn Oak Farmstead in
Wisconsin will share their process in evaluating risks and making a
climate adaptation plan; Kyle Burns of Burns Blossom Farm
will discuss adaptation practices he uses on his farm in
California.
The presentation will run approximately 60 minutes,
followed by a Q&A session where our presenters will answer
questions from the audience. Space is limited—register
